Is the material safe to use?

We use PLA for our material, which is an FDA-approved “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) polymer. PLA, also called Polylactic Acid is produced from renewable resources. PLA is also used in medical devices and implants, as well as food handling.

Do you sterilize the ink caps?

All of the ink caps are heated to 400+ degrees Fahrenheit during the manufacturing process. After that, they undergo UV sterilization prior to packaging. All handling of the ink caps are done using nitrile gloves and any storage of ink caps are in sealed containers that have been cleaned with Cavicide. The containers are then dried before any ink caps are placed inside.

You can also soak your ink caps in isopropyl alcohol for extra precaution if you’d like.

How long until my order is shipped?

Depending on how many orders there are, it may take me 2-5 days to process your order and get it shipped. I am one person creating these, so I do my best to get them out as soon as possible. Over time, I've been decreasing processing time.

How will my order be packaged?

Each order of color and size will be in a separate bag. They are then sealed in double polymail bags for extra protection from any weather or handling during shipping. Larger orders and some international orders will be shipped in boxes. A
